Biodiversity

 

SODELEG is committed to biodiversity 🌍🌱. To reduce the environmental impact of agricultural practices, our company has collaborated with various partners and local farmers 👨🏽‍🌾 to improve biodiversity. We have notably installed several beehives on farms, as well as flowering fallows, a mix of different plants 🌿 highly appreciated by bees 🐝.

In addition, we have also invested in weather stations ⛅️ that allow us to predict the appearance of downy mildew, the main disease affecting onions 🧅. This helps us reduce the use of phytosanitary treatments on our crops.

Crop

Planting and sowing were carried out in good conditions for the crop (Dehydration period) expected to last from August to November for our 100 % French Dried Onion and Shallot. Our Agronomists follow our contracted Growers to offer them support and advice to meet your quality requirements.
